What you pay
Continuous-logging analyzers list above $1,100. This one stays on the unit and alerts you when the fault happens.
How is this calculated?
190 (single price, every use) + 350 (indicative hardware, per kit) = 540, once. No fees; updates included.

The problem
You go back, and the unit runs perfectly
A high-pressure trip on a hot afternoon, ice at dawn, short cycling: it never happens while you are on site. So you come back again, or you leave an expensive logger behind: the benchmark long-term logging kit (Testo 570s Smart Vacuum Kit) lists at $1,128. Every return trip is an hour you cannot bill. And since 1 January 2026 the EPA's AIM Act rule requires owners of commercial refrigeration holding 15 lb or more of HFC to repair leaks above 20 % a year, so a fault found late costs more.
How it works
The Refrigeration Tech Kit stays on the unit for several days and logs how it runs: pressures, temperatures and electrical consumption. When the fault happens, your phone gets an alert with the graph of what happened before and after, and the probable cause. It is a diagnostic aid, not a certification: the call stays yours. With the same kit you log a week of consumption and get a report to quote the replacement of an old unit.
Leave it on the client's unit for several days and go.
When the fault happens, your phone gets an alert with the before-and-after graph.
Come back knowing the probable cause and with the data to bring the right part.
What you get
Fewer return trips
See the fault when it happens, not after three visits.
Quotes backed by data
A week of estimated energy use to justify replacing an old unit.
The only thing not included: reselling the software on its own. Exact rights are in the licence you receive when you buy.

FAQ
What do I need to install it on a client's unit?
You are an EPA Section 608-certified technician (or hold the local refrigerant certificate), the unit has accessible service ports, there is mobile coverage and you have a phone for the alerts. It suits walk-ins, display cases and condensing units on the common refrigerants; it does not cover CO2 (R744) systems.
What if the unit is sealed with no service ports?
You can log temperatures and current, but without pressures the diagnosis is less reliable. To get the most out of it, the unit needs service ports.
Will it tell me for sure which part is failing?
No. It gives the probable cause from what it logged, as a diagnostic aid. The call stays yours. It does not certify anything or replace inspecting the unit.
How long does it run unplugged, and what if there is no signal?
Several days on battery; for longer logs, power it over USB-C. With no coverage the alert arrives late, but the log is kept and sent once signal returns.
Can I use it as an official record or a calibrated instrument?
No. It is an aid for tracking down intermittent faults: it is not a calibrated instrument, not a required leak-inspection record, and does not replace the unit's service records.
Is the consumption report exact enough to quote a replacement?
It is an estimate: the kit measures current, not true power, so the kWh in the report are approximate. It helps you make the case and quote, but it is not an exact measurement.
What does it cost in total, and when do I get the licence?
One price: $190, one-off, for every use, with updates included. The kit is bought separately: about $290–350, indicative. You get the licence and download link within 12 hours; if it doesn't arrive in time, you get your money back.
I run an HVAC/R company: can I install it on my clients' units?
Yes. The single price already covers installing it on your clients' units and charging them for the service yourself. The kit is bought separately. The only thing it does not include is reselling the software on its own.
